I also tried removing a few certs on my desktop that I thought were the ones we're using, but citrix still ran ok so maybe it's a different cert and I Note: Not all SGC compliant certificates are missing the Server Authentication value and not all invalid certificates are SGC compliant. None of what I did seemed to make any difference in the behavior of Citrix. Problem solved on my mac.

No problem, it works because the root problem is Citrix doesn't have access to the SSL certificate required to make a secure connection. The issue is related to a locally stored certificate chain file that is outdated. This way, if those certs are updated, then the Citrix client will continue pointing to them. but the client still denied it. Maybe I should test again, I do need a remote citrix server to test against though.
